About this call

This call for projects relates to the mini-grid component of the DECIM Fund, and more specifically to Window 3: Innovation. Window 3 aims to test new rural electrification technologies and assess whether they can enable faster and more cost-effective deployment to meet Madagascar's electrification needs. Sub-window 1 of Window 3 primarily seeks to award Results-Based Financing (RBF) grants based on the number of active connections resulting from projects implementing innovative rural electrification technologies.

Eligibility criteria

Companies, associations, and cooperatives established under Malagasy law, locally based and active in the mini-grid sector;
NGOs operating in the mini-grid sector, if they adopt a commercial approach and meet the eligibility criteria of the grant sub-window;
