About this call

This call for projects focuses on the sale of laptops to the University of Antananarivo and the University of Fianarantsoa (pilot phase). This pilot aims to test distribution approaches, collect operational data, and prepare for future nationwide deployment. It involves 1 400 laptops, divided into two categories and distributed among the two universities.

Eligibility criteria

Malagasy companies established locally and active in the distribution of digital devices ;
NGO or association with a commercial approach duly established in Madagascar; or operating in other sectors for at least one (1) year with the potential to promote the distribution of laptops);

Microfinance Institutions (MFIs)
Consortia including telecommunications operators, MFIs, device manufacturers, or and/or laptop manufacturers)

Category 1: New devices only: Intel Core i5/Ryzen 5, 8 GB RAM, 256 SSD (minimum specifications)
Category 2: New (300) and refurbished (400) devices: Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD (minimum specifications)
