Funded Activities
As part of the DECIM Fund, dedicated financing windows (guichets) will be developed and added progressively as the Fund evolves, in order to address specific challenges aligned with DECIM’s objectives. Within each guichet, targeted funding calls, referred to as financing windows (fenêtres de financement), will be launched. A financing window refers to a specific funding opportunity offered to eligible beneficiaries under a guichet.

Mechanisms
With an initial capital of USD 97 million, the DECIM Fund supports the private sector through three key financial instruments:
A performance-based funding mechanism that incentivizes companies to achieve measurable targets.
Catalytic grants
Funding for business activities and technical assistance to help companies strengthen and scale their operations.
Debt financing, including inventory and receivables financing for solar and digital distributors, as well as financial institutions, offered in partnership with BRED MADAGASIKARA BP.
